INTELLIGENETICS SOFTWARE AND SERVICES
 
IntelliGenetics, Inc. offers software products for molecular biologists and
biochemists.  Running on a broad range of computers, these time-saving programs
help you plan experiments and analyze and manage data.  Scientific and
technical support is available for each of these products.
 

                     - The IntelliGenetics Suite -

The IntelliGenetics Suite is an integrated package of molecular biology
software for the VAX, MicroVAX, Sun, and Solbourne computers.  This set of
programs helps molecular biologists plan experiments, analyze protein and
nucleic acid sequences, and assemble sequencing projects.  There are programs
that search large sequence databases and find multiple and pairwise sequence
similiarities.  The IntelliGenetics Suite is also available on a timesharing
basis and through the GenBank On-Line Service.
 

                             - PC/GENE -

PC/GENE is the most comprehensive set of integrated programs available for IBM
microcomputers and compatibles. It performs over sixty different types of
protein and nucleic acid sequence analyses, displaying the results with high
resolution graphic plots.  With the ability to interface directly to other
computers running the IntelliGenetics Suite, PC/GENE enables you to analyze
sequence data on both systems, giving you access to the greatest number of
programs available on any computer system.
 

                           - SpeedReader -

SpeedReader is a semi-automatic DNA sequence film reading and image analysis
device.  With it, you can display the image of your sequencing film on the
screen, adjust the image for interpretation, and automatically build the
sequence from the pattern of bands.  You can bring complete details on any
sequence to the screen, allowing side-by-side comparisons of different images.
SpeedReader is available on IBM compatible 80286- or 80386-based machines with
4 Megabytes of expansion memory, to satisfy a wide range of performance needs.
You can load the sequence files directly into your PC/GENE without format
conversion.
 

                             - GeneWorks -

GeneWorks is a nucleic acid and protein sequence analysis program for the Apple
Macintosh.  You can perform a wide variety of tasks, incuding sequence editing,
restriction analysis, composition analysis, open reading frame analysis, site
analysis, planning of cloning experiments, and data bank searching.  GeneWorks
takes full advantage of the Macintosh graphics environment, allowing you to
manipulate sequence data as text, maps, plots, and graphcs.  Drawing and
editing tools and a variety of formatting options allow you to customize your
output for publication and presentation.


                              - GENESEQ -

GENESEQ is a unique new data base that contains information on nucleic acid
and protein sequences from patents published in all of the world's major
patent offices.  You can use the IntelliGenetics Suite to rapidly examine
GENESEQ, which contains sequence information that is not available in any
publicly maintained data bank, to predict whether your patent application is
likely to be contested because of similarity to other material. GENESEQ is the
product of a cooperative effort between IntelliGenetics and Derwent
Publications Ltd., one of the largest suppliers of patent information
in the world.
