Gomoku is very popular game. Though is comes from Far East, there are a lot of Gomoku fans in Europe, America, Russia. This game also none under names of Renju, Griss-Cross, Five Crosses. So some modifications of this game exist Complexity of Gomoku is rather impresive. There are billions of combinations so the game difficulty can be compared with chess. 3D Gomoku is an 3D version this game written for the Java Platform. An ancient famous logic game with simple rules. The goal of the game is to place five stones in a row before the opponent. An attractive interface and a powerful intellectual programme will enable you to enjoy your time and develop your logical thinking.

System Requirements

3D Gomoku requires a computer capable of running a Java platform 1.1.7 or higher. The Java Runtime Environment or Java Development Kit must be installed. Various free Java virtual machines are available on the Internet.

Getting Started

3D Gomoku is distributed in the industry standard ZIP format. To de-archive the ZIP files, you will need an unzip utility.

Installing the Program

Once you have the unzip utility handy, you need to decide where you would like to place 3D Gomoku on your hard drive. Most likely, you would select 'C:\' or 'C:\Program Files'. Any directory is fine. Place the 3D Gomoku archive in that drive and directory.

Running the Program

To run 3D Gomoku, change into the 3D Gomoku directory. Then type:

java Gomoku

Or if you are using either Linux or Windows, you may simply execute one of the batch files provided.
