WELCOME TO HomeBank Version 1.8


Announcing HomeBank the new personal finance banking program for the 
Psion Series 5. The philosophy behind the program is that it allows the 
User to analyse his/her finances, whilst including the functionality of 
a Banking suite of functions. It has therefore been designed from a 
somewhat different perspective than the other 'Bank'type programs 
available from other Shareware Authors and I hope that you find it 
useful. Please e-mail me with your feedback!!

HomeBank will assist you in managing your expenditure. Features include:

1. View all Screens over *ANY* time period enables precise control over 
Personal Expenditure.

2. Sophisticated analysis over monthly, quarterly and yearly periods of      	
Income vs Expenditure vs Budgets set for user-defined Categories.

3. Analyse Expenditure by User defined Categories. View all Categories 
or select just one.

4. Totally configurable, with all entries retrospectively updateable.     
Easy to use with single Dialog Entry

5. Intuitive Pen input

6. View Transations in Descending or Ascending date order. Change of 
Viewing Dates is only a pen point away ! Toggle the Totals in the non-Account screens between 
TOTALS, INCOME and OUTLAY.
 
7. Banking Features : Reconcile Cleared items using Stylus; Cleared 
Balance, Overall Balance or Period Balance Totals; TRANSFER between Accounts; STANDING 
ORDERS; Summary view of particular Account over the chosen viewing 
period. Running balance ( if Toolbar is not shown ). Overall balance summary of all Accounts

8. International Settings and 'Foreign' Currencies other than your designated 'default' Currency
can be entered.

9. Old Transactions may additionally be archived to file.

10. Exporting in ASCII formats supported and enables exporting to Spreadsheets. Quicken
 compatable export coming shortly.

11. Graphics show Expenditure Vs Budget comparison for all Categories for any time period
 selected.

report any bugs or improvements or just your comments.
SHAREWARE:

This program is shareware and needs to Registered after a maximum period of ninety days. 
It only costs UK Pounds 10.00 or US$15.00 to register, so play fair and support the Shareware
concept. Full details of how to register are in the program or at my website.
