Subject: N-1-4-075.05 Computer Networks and ISDN Systems Philip H. Enslow Jr., College of Computing, Georgia Institute of Technology The transition to 12 issues a year, as announced earlier, is well underway. The change is effective with Volume 25, 1993, and the first five issues of Vol 25 have already been distributed. The additional pages and issues make it possible to provide much better coverage of this field. Computer Networks and ISDN Systems is published by Elsevier Science Publishers in Amsterdam. Issue 1 of Vol. 25 was a special issue on "Formal Description Techniques (FDT) Concepts and Tools" edited by S. Chanson, K. Turner, H. Rudin, and S. Vuong. Issues 2 and 3 were regular issues. Issues 4 and 5 (a double issue), which has just been distributed, is a special issue edited by Paul van Binst on "The 3rd Joint European Networking Conference" held in Innsbruck 11-14 May, 1992 (a excellent way to get up to date on a lot of the activities currently underway in Europe). Other special issues planned for Vol. 25 are "High Speed Networks" (D.P. Sidhu, ed.), "Tools for FDTs" (J. Quemada, ed.), "Protocol Specification, Testing, and Verification 11" (B. Jonsson, J. Parrow, and B. Pehrson, eds.) and "International Teletraffic Conference" (P. Chermouil, J. Filipiak, and U. Koerner, eds.).
