Jacobsen As mentioned in the previous edition of ISOC News, the September 1993 issue of ConneXions was an "INTEROP Companion" with no less than 96 pages of material related to the conference. This edition contains articles on the 5 Year Anniversary of the NSFNET, The IETF Standards Process, Remote Printing ("Fax over the Internet"), Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR), A User's View of IPng, The Internet for Business, Internet Security, Internet Tools, ATM, GateD, Routing, Gigabit Network Interfaces, Windows Sockets, Wireless Networking, and CALS. Free samples are available while supplies last. The October issue of ConneXions returns to its normal size with a report from INTEROP, an article describing how to connect to the Internet, an article entitled "Establishing Workgroups in a Multiprotocol Environment", and short writeups on the ATM Forum, the Frame Relay Forum, and the SMDS Interest Group. The November edition is yet another "INTEROP Companion," this time for the first European INTEROP held 25-29 October in Paris. This issue contains articles on the Global Internet eXchange (GIX), The RIPE NCC, EUnet, The MICE Multimedia project, Running OSI applications over a CLNS network, DFS, RENATER, APPC and APPN, and the SNMP Host Resource MIB.
