In the framework of this project the first computer communication infrastructure for Hungary was developed. Peter Bakonyi played an important role in the opening and in the integration to the western networking infrastructure and organizations. He is a manager who understands the need of changes in a changing world. Peter Bakonyi is vice-president of the Hungarnet, the Hungarian national networking organisation. He played an important role in the success of the Central and East European session of the INET'92 conference in Kobe.
