Quick Gameplay Howto
To play a game: simply choose 'new game' from the File menu.
Once a game is in progress:
To Fold your hand you may either:
- press the 'Fold Button'
- press the 'f' key on your keyboard
- press the 'alt+f' keys simultainiously
on your keyboard
To Check/Call your hand you may either:
- press the 'Call Button'
- press the 'c' key on your keyboard
- press the 'alt+c' keys simultainiously
on your keyboard
To Raise your hand you may either:
- press the 'Raise Button'
- press the 'r' key on your keyboard
- press the 'alt+r' keys simultainiously
on your keyboard
To Quit playing either:
- press the 'Quit Button'
- press the 'q' key on your keyboard
- press the 'alt+q' keys simultainiously
on your keyboard
Customizing game play
To choose game options simply choose 'Options...' from the File menu.
Set table limits
- structured games from $2-$4 to
$200-$400 may be chosen
Choose the number of players
- any number of players from 1
to 10 may be chosen (though a 1 player game can be very boring ;)
Determine if the computer opponents can learn from
you
- the computer opponents will attempt
to learn how you play an formulate stratigies designed to beat you
Choose which seat you will occupy
- any number from 1 to 10
may be chosen
Choose the maximum number of raises per betting round
- any number from 0 to a
very large number indeed may be chosen
Slow down the computer opponents
- this will allow you more time
to ponder their decisions
Choose whether to turn over cards that won without
a showdown
- by default players who win without
a showdown do not turn over their cards
Freeze button at particular player
- by default the button is passed
to the left of the dealer after every round, this causes the button to stick
to the choosen player
Choose the rake percentage
- most casinos take a certain amount
from the pot every hand
Deal all cards face up
- usually all cards are dealt face
down except for the human players, and widows hand.
